The idea was to use footage of Elvis’ legendary 1973 concert in Hawaii and replace his band with contemporary musicians regularly heard on Radio 2. Director Steve Cope and team performed research heroics, delving through hour upon hour of archive footage to find the right musicians to blend into the original concert.
