Our captioners attend or listen to proceedings via a telephone line and transcribe what’s being said in real-time. They then deliver the text over a secure internet connection straight to the participant’s laptop – be they at the event itself or at another location.

LRC gives Deaf, hard-of-hearing and ESL (English as a Second Language) participants access to a real-time transcript of events as they happen and can also serve as an accurate record of proceedings for latecomers or those who were unable to attend.
