Antena 2 Channel Identity

Following our successful re-brand of Antena 1, the Antena Group approached us to review the network positioning of their entire portfolio, which included the current affairs channel Antena 2.

The Challenge

Extensive research and workshops revealed that as the content of Antena 2 had changed from current affairs focused to celebrity-based, its audience and its advertisers were now confused about what it stood for.

The Solution

Based on consumer insight and research we devised a positioning that combined the channel’s heritage and its current content. Thus Antena 2 became all about ‘Social Currency’.

Our on-screen identity design uses hand-drawn typography, playful animation and the visual language of speech bubbles to communicate the liveliness and chatty attitude at the heart of the channel. Antena 2’s fresh, modern, young and relevant approach is now clear to everyone.
