Canal+ Network Channel Identity

A complex brand challenge from Spain’s leading television network to help it stay ahead of its rivals.

THE CHALLENGE

To remain market leader, Canal+ needed a brand overhaul. So its owners Sogecable approached us to update and modernise its entire network look – from logo system to individual channel idents and on screen presentation.

THE SOLUTION

Using bold colour in surprising ways we completely re-energised the black and white network logo in both idents and on-screen graphics. We produced four idents for the main Canal+ channel and designed concepts for the genre channels ensuring a cohesive network look and feel.

THE RESULT

The new network identity won a prestigious silver award at the Laus Awards. What’s more, according to Canal+’s Director of Communications: “Red Bee has helped us greatly to rediscover our DNA and sharpen our strengths.”
