The Challenge

Re-design and build a Corporate website and create an online facility for departments to share business information externally. At the heart of the brief was the need to future-proof everything so that rebrands, channel name changes, new channels and new functionality could be achieved without a major rebuild.

The Solution

Using the open source Drupal CMS framework, we created detailed information hierarchy defining navigation, process flows and wireframe layouts which fed into the final design. An intuitive experience was key, so we utilised a number of JQuery UI components and best practice UI mechanisms (e.g. crumb trails, sitemap, etc) to aid usability.

The Result

The final site complied with all of Five’s stringent acceptance criteria covering accessibility, browser compliance and front-end performance. It was delivered on time and on brief.
